Truly, Madly, Deeply Melbourne Part Two – Let’s Celebrate!

Guests of the second annual Melbourne Food and Wine Festival event at the Plaza Ballroom, ‘Truly, Madly, Deeply Melbourne – Part Two’, were treated to a gastronomic celebration of what Melbourne does best – food, wine and entertainment. Celebrating 25 years of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and 20 years of events by Marriner Group at the Plaza Ballroom, the event promised a night that would showcase and celebrate what the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is all about; excellent food with beautiful regional wines.

Guests were treated to four contemporary courses created by our Executive Chef, David Ricardo and his team (view menu here), matched beautifully with wines from our wine partner, Santa & D’Sas, a collaboration between the Santarossa and Di Sciascio families. With a shared Italian heritage and a passion for making wine, Santa & D'Sas has focused on producing wines from the King Valley with special project wines coming from other select Victorian regions.

Drinks on arrival included gin and tonics from the Melbourne Gin Company and Whisky and dry from Starward Whisky. Whisky tastings were also available throughout the night at the bespoke Starward Whisky Bar.
